Our Tensor rings are made healing copper coils looped back on themselves to create a closed-loop ring. Read on to learn a bit more about why we use only pure copper in our rings and what gauge to choose for your Tensor Ring.
Copper has the best electrical conductivity of any metal (except silver) and because of this is highly prized for a number of applications. One of the most fascinating things about Copper is the fact that it is the third most common trace mineral within our bodies – we believe that this links us closely with wonderful copper. Since copper is of a crystalline structure (stores information) it requires proper attention and care during tool construction in order to be of most benefit to the user.
Our tensor rings are comprised of looped copper healing coils and use 100% copper in order to tap into the crystalline and conducive nature of the metal. In order to keep our tensor rings accessible and affordable, we avoid covering them with other costly metals like silver or gold. In our experience, the addition of these metals might look pretty but has little effect on the efficacy of the tensor ring.
We utilize copper wire of various gauges sourced from our local hardware store – this is the same wire used in household electrical applications. The gauge thickness matters because the thinner a wire is (higher gauge) the more resistance there will be to the flow of electromagnetic current. More resistance means more energy loss, which results in a slightly weaker field.
For those ready to really dive in -consider purchasing a thicker gauge (8 gauge – 10 gauge) copper coiled tensor ring. For those who want more subtle energetic support, consider utilizing a thinner, higher gauge (12 or more) tensor ring. No matter which gauge you choose – the healing copper coils of the tensor rings will provide subtle energy to support your intentions, improve your meditations, and assist your body’s natural healing process.
